The Kutai Basin in East Kalimantan is one of largest basin in Indonesia and in 1972 Badak Field, with its large natural gas reserve, was discovered by what is currently VICO Indonesia. The natural gas is liquefied to the largest LNG processing plant in the world at Bontang, East Kalimantan and shipped to customers in Taiwan, Japan and South Korea. Currently the Badak Field produces 700 mmscf/d of natural gas and 20 MBPD of oil and condensate.
Prowell Energy supports the service company Bama Bumi Sentosa by providing various tools and equipment from Wireline Units including Hydraulic Power Packs, Toolstrings, Pressure Control Equipment, Downhole Flow Control, Plugs, Nipples, and many more to explore and produce the Badak Field today.
